1. Scope
This policy applies to purchases of LiedText Editions digital editions processed by Paddle. It is supplemented by Paddle’s purchase terms and policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms and https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.
The buyer’s mandatory rights take precedence. We do not offer an additional commercial satisfaction guarantee or an automatic refund for a change of mind.
2. Withdrawal
Time limits and exceptions depend on the country and applicable law. Paddle’s policy provides for 14 days for certain European consumers and different time limits for other countries. The same rules do not automatically apply to all buyers.
In certain circumstances involving digital content, starting a download or use may result in loss of the right of withdrawal if the required express consent and information have been provided. Merely purchasing or creating an account does not in itself constitute a waiver.
3. Issues with an edition
If a file cannot be opened, a contracted document is missing, the wrong work or language has been received, or a defect is identified, you can email info@liedtexteditions.com. Include the purchase email address, order reference, product and description of the problem.
We will review the issue and help you restore access or obtain the correct file. This support does not condition or restrict the exercise of legal rights.
4. Requests and processing
To request a refund, use the support link on Paddle’s receipt or visit https://paddle.net. You can also email info@liedtexteditions.com for help identifying the transaction.
Paddle may, at its discretion, consider requests submitted within 14 days of the transaction; submitting a request within that period does not guarantee approval. Defects and mandatory rights are handled separately from this discretionary route.
Refunds are processed using the methods and within the time frames set out in the Paddle policy applicable to the transaction.
5. Effect on the licence
A full refund terminates the affected licence and access is withdrawn: you must stop using and distributing the files. For an institutional licence, the institution must notify its beneficiaries. In the case of a partial refund, the scope of the licences that remain in force will be specified.
This does not affect copies that must be retained by law or independent rights in public domain texts.
